Playing Kurt Cobain Not Nirvana For James McAvoy, Actor Says Rumors Are False
MTV.com - Dec 6, 2007By now, you’ve probably heard — and lamented — the rumors that James McAvoy, he of Mr. Tumnus fame, had been cast to play Kurt Cobain in an upcoming bio-pic, one based on Charles Cross’ ultra-morose 2001 tome “Heavier Than Heaven” and executive-produced by the late Nirvana frontman’s Widow, Courtney Love. But could the rumors be trusted? We finally got the definitive answer this week.
